Return to Innocence ^_^

"My mom started a summer school recently, for kids aged below 10 yrs.Yeah, even Jyo can go...", as rightly put by a friend. Its about the childlike behaviour of mine that's going to be under limelight in this thread.Mind u,I'm going ahead, assuming that the difference between 'childish'(which is the irritating-kid) and 'childlike'(the LIKED part of a child's behaviour) is understood by all and sundry(or atleast after i've mentioned).
There must have been many instances in each of our lives, when we left no other choice to ourselves than to smile or giggle for wat we must've done.Somethin like 'ring the bell of ur fav neighbour's door and RUN :D (hey 'Childish' u better subside, i'm talkin abt 'childlike').Certain characteristic traits of some ppl cant go unnoticed, like the smile on their faces after lookin at a kid-trying-to-make-faces, or wen they're listenin to their fav song being played on radio all of a sudden and so on...dis list is as endless as the stretch of stars seemed to Copernicus. There r certain ppl(me definitely being one of them) i've come across, who r amused at the slightest of beauties on this planet and are totally involved in whatever they do(a frn o mine eats EXACTLY dat way :P ). I'd like to pen down some of my musings...Moonwatching, being a li'l too slow in completing studies in the given time(thanx to the umpteen distractions v r BORN with),idiosyncrasies like excessive usage of emoticons(not only while working online, but everytym ur face is xposed 2 atmosphere),surfin thru out the night inspite of knowing that my li'l hands cant get over the complete WEB but the mere idea of fillin a jar wid no base seems interesting. These r all the petty nuances, but in The Larger Picture, the child in us plays a very important role, as the Enigma song goes..

When it is dark you are my light
But don't forget
Who's always our guide
It is the child in us

Treading onto the technical aspect of this, according to Transactional Analyses, the child ego state can be subdivided into Rebellious Child(which gets activated on parental action) , Natural Child(filled with amazement) and Little Professor(the creative one). If nurtured properly, a befitting proportion of each of the different children in us can truly make WONDERS :) How else do you think we can manage to see-saw the Jekyll and Hyde in us?

"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."
Whoever u r, whatever u do, here's the salute to the child in u!

Song of the day: Que sera sera :D

PS: The characters inside the parenthesis are NOT to be neglected.By the way, i'm a 19 yr old kid (:

  2. If every blossom lives out of a tiny seed.
If every rain drop lives out of the sweat we sacrifice.
If every Person lives out of a kid born on the date he never forgets.

Then you are a child of caprice born out of an adult growing into a kid :-P

Hope your blog annoys enough people to trouble your mundanes and make your email a clutter of YOU KNOW WHATS...........

  6. The best way to live life is to be a kid. The most unfortunate human tragedy is to kill the kid inside us. The whole world would be so beautiful if the kids in us surface.

May Almighty help you remain a kid all the way in your future.

I just dropped in to your blogspot when I received a link through one of the mails I received (I am not too sure whether the link forwarded to me was accidental or intentional).

    Best Wishes.

  8. i must tell you! you make me remind of a little girl who wrote a poem when she was dying in a hospital..
the poem's name is SLOW DANCE

    Have you ever watched kids

    On a merry-go-round?

    Or listened to the rain

    Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

    You better slow down.

    Don't dance so fast.

    Time is short.

    The music won't last.

Do you run through each day

    On the fly?

When you ask How are you?

    Do you hear the reply?

    When the day is done

Do you lie in your bed

    With the next hundred chores

    Running through your head?

    You'd better slow down
    Don't dance so fast.

    Time is short.

    The music won't last.

    Ever told your child,

    We'll do it tomorrow?

    And in your haste,

    Not see his sorrow?

    Ever lost touch,

    Let a good friendship die

    Cause you never had time

    To call and say,"hi"

    You'd better slow down.

    Don't dance so fast.

    Time is short.

    The music won't last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere

You miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day,

It is like an unopened gift....

    Thrown away.

    Life is not a race.

    Do take it slower

    Hear the music

    Before the song is over.

this was written by her when she was left with six months....:(...!! anyways good blog AnJyo!! keep on writing...dont be like me! :D \m/\m/
